Just A Bit About Me.

I originally grew up in Melbourne Victoria. I did the usual kid things, school, Little Athletics, prefering middle and long distance as I could go into my own zone and gymnastics.

My knees where shot by my mid teens, so didn't get involved much in any sports again till my late 20's. During which time I worked for 15 years in the horse racing industry in Vic and N.S.W, with commercial breeding and training.

After leaving the race scene and moving to Cairns in Far Nth Queensland I was very thin weighing only 55kg, at 172cm I looked like a willow stick. I joined a gym to try and put some meat on my bones and get some shape about me. I loved the weights and very soon the competitive drive rose up again to challenge myself and I was addicted. I did a few small competitions and in 2002 I move down to Brisbane where I'm getting better and better.

I've been training now for 13 years, I like both cardio and weight training (prefer free weights}.

My hobbies include movies, eating out, spending quality time with friends and my bestest fan, Bev_Lee my staffy x kelpie  {best lil' cardio buddy one could wish for}, can't help but smile with her around.

I love animals, their companionship alone can lift the lowest of spirits.  

It is always a pleasure to hear that I have inspired someone to follow their goals and dreams, just by doing what I love to do. I encourage them as much as I can. This pushes me harder in my own pursuits.

It was time to reinvent myself, I think the transition from physique to figure has been a positive move in the right direction.

My goal is still to represent Australia in women's competitions with distinction at an International level and after this years great results competing, I know I am now ready to take the next step abroad.
