Hello my names Derval Thomas, I'm 24 years old and i compete in the 100 and 200 meters. Here's a little bio on me, i was born and raised in Toll Gate, Clarendon Jamaica W.I. My mother and i migrated to the US in 1997 where i began persuing my dreams of being a track star. In my career i've competed in the 100, 200, 4x100, 4x400 and Long-Jump. My personal best in each events are as followed, 100 (10.5) 200 (21.15) Long-Jump (23'6). I ran on the Junior College Level for 2 years where i was a 5-Time All-American for Bergen Community College.

Running has always been something that i excelled at and enjoyed doing. Since 2007 i've been running with the purpose of not only fulfilling my dreams but also to show all the single mothers out there that their work is very much appreciated. My whole life it's been me and my mother through the hardships of life, so essential me running track and trying to better myself as a man is my way of paying tribute to her.
